A guy mailed me yesterday (a little late) in response to my question about 'why I should continue living', if there was any reason at all. Now this is one of the more serious mails I've gotten on the topic so far, here's what he says:

Suicide is not an act of cowardice or selfishness. It can be brave and selfless.
If you care about the emotions of the people around you, you can leave them a note saying you love them and telling them why you felt you wanted to leave.

2nd - I think that ppl who did suicide are just big cowards. Ok, you end your troubles and bad things, but think of ppl who are left behind, I mean your family and friends, maybe boyfriend/girlfriend.. How can anyone do something that is that awful? They're going to suffer, a lot. If you do suicide, you are giving up of life and that is terrible.

whatever you choose to do, I pray that you are sure that it is what you actually want. There is no shame in killing yourself IF there are in fact viable reasons. OR if you just cant take the mental or emotional turmoil in your life. BUT if you do it, please don't make a show of it. It won't get the message that you are actually trying to get out there. Your message would be better delivered, if you wrote your goodbye online, and then did it. The buildup just gives a lot of soul less asses a chance to add to your issues that you have. I can understand your feelings on how life is so pointless sometimes and that life doesnt even seem worth living. Sure, its true that there might not be a god, and that eventually everything we accomplished and our memories will be forgotten. But at the same time, you might as well enjoy life and see what it has to offer. I've been sitting up, for at least a good hour here in the U.S. trying to figure out what I can say to try and chane your mind. At first I thought this was a joke, that it was some call for attention, however it seems that everyday you take the time to carefully make an entry into the blog. That to me is a sign that you are serious about taking this step. But think about it, isn't there anything you can think of that you want to see, do, or accomplish that you can't within the next fourty or so days? Think about what you are missing, the experiences that truly make life worth life, and death worth fearing. Think about all those oppurtunities you are missing out on by commiting suicde. Not being able to become a mother or a wife. Forget about the future, each day is a new day. Counting the days you live, is the same as counting how many days until you have to die, except you are just a lot happier. Your a pretty frickin hot girl, and I don't see how something so beautiful as you would think of something as black and disgusting as the prospect of suicide. Just remember that deep in your heart, you enjoy being alive, and that there is no turning back once you have forfeited the gift that has been given you.
